Action to Keep Students Safe rallied at Leake & Watts School September 9. AKSS Parents Sheila Foster and Deb Pacheco led several dozen demonstrators on the first day of school. Leake & Watts is the school in Yonkers, NY where on April 18, 2012, 16-year-old Corey Foster died after staffers restrained him on the school basketball court. The rally attracted a member of Governor Cuomo's staff as well as Richard Stripp, author of Mommy, I Wish I Could Tell You What They Did To Me In School Today, shown on the YouTube video below speaking at the rally.
